Happy Holidays from the Follow the Art Team! (Dad and I )

As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support of Follow the Art. This project has been a labor of love, and we couldn’t do it without you.

We’re excited to share a brief update on the film:

Filming Progress: 95% of the filming is complete! We’ve conducted numerous interviews and captured incredible stories and B-roll footage that truly pulls the whole film together. While weather and car issues have caused slight delays, we’re steadily moving forward.

Road Trips: Over the last six months, we’ve gone on four additional road trips, visiting former students, friends, and places connected to my dad’s journey.  Each interview opened new doors and stories we hadn’t anticipated—it’s been both humbling and inspiring.

Editing: I’ve been editing nonstop, diving deep into the storytelling and piecing together the footage every single day—a massive task, but seeing the story come together is beyond rewarding.

Film Timeline: We’re aiming to complete the film by Summer 2026, in time for film festival deadlines. Once finished, Follow the Art will enter the festival circuit.

This journey has had its ups and downs, but every challenge has been worth it. Your support makes it all possible, and we’re so grateful to have you with us.
